The B1 Secure English Language Test (SELT) is an officially approved English test required by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) for applications for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) and British Citizenship (Naturalisation).
At B1 level you must demonstrate intermediate English across Speaking and Listening skills. The test is conducted by an approved provider such as Trinity College London (GESE Grade 5 or ISE I) and the approved provider supplies your result/evidence according to its current process. Follow the provider and GOV.UK instructions for your application.
