Don't start by buying lessons. Start with free practice, find the areas that are costing you marks or confidence, work on those weaknesses, and only then choose focused preparation if you need it.

Independent preparation only. ELS does not administer official SELT exams or issue SELT results. Confirm your current immigration requirement and approved test provider on GOV.UK before booking.

What should I do after the diagnostic?

Low score / major gaps

Return to level-specific practice and focus on the grammar, listening or speaking weaknesses shown in your result.

Borderline

Use mock speaking and repeated targeted practice. Consider a tutor session for objective feedback.

Strong practice result

Move to timed mock practice and exam technique. A practice result is not an official pass prediction.
