Classroom ideas
Project the game and play in teams. Teams take turns to call out a letter, using the English letter names (“Is there an e?”). The team that guesses the whole word wins the point, but only if they can also say what it means.
Follow-up: students choose a word and give a one-sentence clue for a partner to guess (“It’s a room under the ground.”).
